Product Overview

FM-962 is an outdoor matting agent specifically designed for the polyester/TGIC system. It can reduce gloss to about 5 degrees, with an addition amount of 1-6%. Product Features

• Wide selectivity for polyesters, achieving good matting effects with most polyesters.

• Excellent mechanical properties, resin-based matting with very good leveling.

Usage and Dosage

Directly add in outdoor high-gloss formulations. Combining with Shen Jian 4ET can achieve good leveling, low gloss, and excellent performance. The addition amount is 1-5% of the total weight of the formulation, depending on the desired gloss.

Notes:

1. It is not advisable to add curing accelerators to this system's matting agent, nor is it advisable to bake it with chemical matting agents in the same line, as this may cause an increase in gloss.

2. Using different fillers and polyesters can cause variations in gloss.

3. The applicability of the product needs to be verified by the customer through experiments to obtain the best matting process parameters.

Packaging and Storage

Packed in kraft paper bags with polyethylene linings, each bag weighs 25 kg net.

Based on our experience, this product is effective for at least 1 year when stored at temperatures below 32℃.
