Product Features

Usage and Dosage

This product can be directly added to finished powder after sieving with 80 mesh or higher, or it can be added during chip crushing. The dosage is 0.1~0.3% of the total formula.

Application of AEROXIDE Alu C Fumed Alumina in Powder Coatings

Whether the powder coating is positively or negatively charged, its electrostatic charge will not be adversely affected. The commonly used dosage is less than 0.3%, which does not adversely affect the leveling of the powder coating during the curing process. Alumina C has a very strong positive charge tendency. Therefore, Aeroxide Alu C (alumina C) is used in friction-applied powder coatings, not only to increase the positive charge of the powder coating in use, thereby providing deposition or coating efficiency, but also to reduce the formation of static electricity in the final powder coating, which adversely affects the overall flow performance of the coating

 

Note

  • Over-addition may slightly affect the color in dark colors such as black and bright colors.
  • Unused packages must be sealed to prevent moisture absorption.

Packaging and Storage

Packaged in kraft paper boxes with polyethylene lining, net weight 5 kg/box. Based on our experience, the shelf life of this product is at least 2 years when stored at temperatures below 32°C.
