Product Overview

982 is a weather-resistant outdoor matting agent specially designed for the polyester/TGIC system. It has excellent leveling and matting effects, with less smoke, no wax, and can achieve a gloss of about 10 degrees at the minimum. The surface is delicate, smooth, and the impact can exceed 50kg*cm. The matting is stable, less affected by temperature extrusion, has good adaptability to polyester, and consumes a small amount of TGIC.

Product Features

It has a wide selection of polyesters, and most polyesters can achieve good matting effects.

It has excellent mechanical properties, based on resin matting, and very good leveling.

The gloss is stable, not sensitive to the extrusion process, and has good reproducibility。

Usage and Dosage

Add it directly and extrude in the outdoor formula, with an addition amount of 1 - 5%.

Notes:

It is not recommended to add a curing accelerator to this system's matting agent, and it should not be baked in the same line with chemical matting agents, otherwise, the gloss may increase.
The use of different fillers and polyesters may cause changes in the gloss.
The applicability of the product requires customers to verify through experiments to obtain the best process parameters for matting performance.

Packaging and Storage

Packaged in kraft paper bags lined with polyethylene, with a net weight of 25 kilograms per bag.

Based on our experience, the shelf life of this product is at least 1 year under a storage temperature of < 32℃.
