FM-952 is an outdoor matting agent specially designed for the polyester/TGIC system, mainly used in pure polyester powder coatings. It can provide low gloss of 8-15% (60°), with excellent leveling and weather resistance.

Product Features

• The flat and delicate surface effect cannot be achieved by the dry mixing method. The consumption ratio of TGIC is 10:0.5, and the matting performance is better when choosing a polyester with a slow reaction rate.

• Excellent anti-yellowing and adhesion properties, the minimum gloss can reach 10% with a 5% addition of matting agent.

Usage and Dosage

The dosage is 1-5% of the total weight of the formulation, depending on the desired gloss.

Notes:

1. It is not advisable to add curing accelerators to this system's matting agent, nor is it advisable to bake it with chemical matting agents in the same line, as this may cause an increase in gloss. 

2. The gloss matting degree varies with different fillers. 

3. The applicability of the product needs to be verified by the customer through experiments to obtain the best matting process parameters.

Packaging and Storage

Packed in kraft paper bags with polyethylene linings, each bag weighs 25 kg net. 

Based on our experience, this product is effective for at least 1 year when stored at temperatures below 32℃
